CMC in the news

At CMC, we are always looking for new ways to raise awareness of the benefits of urgent care planning: among patients, healthcare professionals and the public alike.

Since we launched it, our service has attracted a great deal of interest, from specialist medical journals to mainstream media. CMC has been profiled on national TV, praised in Parliament and has earned a prestigious award for NHS innovation. We have collected the best of this content here:

National Innovator Accelerator

In November 2016, Coordinate My Care was shortlisted as one of only eight innovations across the country to receive recognition from the National Innovation Accelerator (NIA) programme.

Each of the innovations chosen were evidence-based and demonstrated cost savings. Another criteria for selection was a focus on providing solutions to key challenges facing the NHS, including better prevention of ill health, improved management of long-term conditions and early intervention into diseases.

With the continuing support of the programme, we hope to address other challenges too: changing the culture to ensure that urgent care planning is seen as a priority; supporting efforts to achieve a paperless NHS; and ensuring that the many systems operating within the NHS can speak to each other effectively.
