At CMC, we are always looking for new ways to raise awareness of the benefits of urgent care planning: among patients, healthcare professionals and the public alike.
Since we launched it, our service has attracted a great deal of interest, from specialist medical journals to mainstream media. CMC has been profiled on national TV, praised in Parliament and has earned a prestigious award for NHS innovation. We have collected the best of this content here:
Coordinate My Care integrates with NHS National Record Locator
The Coordinate My Care (CMC) digital care record has been integrated into the NHS National Record Locator (NRL).
The team behind CMC, which is hosted by the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, said this will give urgent care teams across England – along with 111 and 999 services – access to the urgent care plans of the 72,000 Londoners so far making use of CMC.
It will provide information on patients’ wishes, preferences and clinical details, along with who to contact in an emergency.
CMC said it is a big step towards achieving its ambition of becoming a national urgent care planning service.
